Passionfruit Panama Red (Passiflora edulis) has large red skinned sweet fruits with excellent flavour on a hardy and vigorous vine. A heavy cropping variety, Panama Red is grafted onto hardy rootstock so plants are less susceptible to disease, frosts, pests and temperature extremes. 

Grafted onto hardy Passiflora caerulea rootstock, these plants are less susceptible to disease and able to withstand light frosts. Ideal for cooler climates as long as adequate protection from the cold is given. Passionfruit is self pollinating, however sometimes Mother Nature needs a helping hand and dabbing flowers with a small paintbrush can help with pollination, particularly when plants are still young.
