PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Palm kernel expeller meal (PKE) is a by-product from the manufacturing of palm kernel oil by the mechanical extraction of palm kernels.
A dark brown protein meal with relatively high oil and high fibre levels, palm kernel meal is a good source of protein and fat (for energy). The high fibre levels can be a advantage when fed as part of a balanced diet for cattle.

Palm kernel meal is safe to feed to cattle, as with this energy source there is no risk of acidosis.

• Palm kernel meal can be included in the diets of beef cattle, dairy cows, sheep, poultry and pigs.

• The maximum level of inclusion rate or the feeding rate will depend in the stage of growth and age of the animal. Please consult your nutritionist for suitable levels.
